HomeSync is a full-stack smart home IoT dashboard acting as a digital twin for home automation. Built with React 19, Vite, Express, PostgreSQL, Socket.io, and Tailwind CSS, HomeSync features a built-in IoT simulation engine that generates realistic device metrics, room environmental data, and threshold breach alerts without requiring physical hardware.

Testing and demonstrating IoT dashboards often requires expensive physical hardware setups. Additionally, syncing state changes across multiple browser tabs in real time while maintaining data persistence and low latency is complex.
